In my household, I have one son who is in Nevada with his girlfriend and her family (Iām in California), and my younger son is on the tennis team and a senior at UC Berkeley. TheĀ tennis season was cancelled, all of his friends went home and there will be no formal graduation ceremony (except at home!).Ā My daughter (age 20), is supposed to be in Honolulu right now with her best friend for Spring Break. As you can imagine, sheās not too thrilled to be at home with me! Despite it all, everyone seems to be taking everything in stride (most of the time:).Ā

I headed to San Diego to drop off my daughter Megan atĀ Kerry and Colin Smith's Journey Retreat. Megan is 20 years old, a total rockstar student and all around human being who happens to struggle with severe anxiety at times. Kerry is a colleague of mine, and my husband and I have been through her program. Itās intense, and I worried a little (ok a lot) if the baby in the family could or would not want to handle it. Megan went, rocked it and is forever changed with new life changing tools to manage her anxiety, be happier and ready for her next chapter: transferring colleges in the Fall.Ā
