- Take ownership... ask what is my place in this and how can I improve?
- Practice in a 'warm' environment... prior to a high stakes conversation, practice with family or peers.
- 'Warm' the room... reach out to those you will communicate with prior to meeting and run your ideas by them, allow them to 'poke holes' and also understand their perspective.
- Be bold and brief... ask #WWWD/S (what would a white man do/say)
