I hope this message finds you excited to join me at this Thursday's webinar!
I wanted to share a quick but impactful video with you. It’s all about how female leaders can thrive during disruptive times, and it offers some practical tips you can start using today.
In the video (above), I cover:
Why is this important?
Research from the American Psychological Association and the Peterson Institute for International Economics highlights that female leaders enhance productivity, collaboration, and profitability. However, many organizations struggle to retain this invaluable talent, but I have a proven framework to help female leaders stay motivated and feel in control, even in chaotic times.

Some teams can face change head on and rarely miss a step. For many though, change spurs uncertainty, fear, and distraction.
Most of us simply don’t naturally embrace change.
Change can often feel like a storm at sea, at any moment there is a possibility of being flung overboard, the ship may capsize or when the sea returns to calm, you realize you are not on board.
Staying motivated through change is hard and costly.
It affects productivity, and ultimately, profitability.
Through all my years coaching Olympic athletes, female executives and their teams, time and time again I have seen how my clients have flipped fear on its head and turned it into something they can use to keep on track and stay motivated and highly productive.
Fear and insecurity often hold teams back during times of disruption... but it doesn’t have to.
What Creates Calm and Feeling in Control
When it comes to mastering change, it’s important to feel a sense of agency, and a specific way of world-class...
Have you ever had a day where you had so many meetings that there was no time to strategize or do YOUR work (not to mention fit in a morning routine)? If you feel like you’re lacking control of your schedule and productivity, that can be frustrating and exhausting. If this sounds familiar, I hear this about 10 times a week in private and confidential sessions, in group trainings and in chat rolls that are lit up with these types of comments, so you’re most definitely not alone!
We need to pause that right now.
Why?
According to Passport Health, a corporate wellness company, if this is not addressed, there can be physical and psychological health consequences as well as serious and deleterious effects on profitability. The ripple effect of this can be staggering for a region or an entire company.
When it comes to YOU, you’re needed now more than ever. Your expertise, your passion and compassion, your...

I was on a call with one of my mentors, Brendon Burchard, and he was coaching the High Performance Habit "Productivity."
I felt like such an imposter, dragging my feet on a project and NOT being productive, at all. I finally said to him, "Honestly, I think there is something wrong with me cognitively. I coach this material. I am a supposed expert, but I just can’t seem to make the progress I want and that I know I deserve."
Brendon's response:
"Sheryl, do you believe in what you are doing, and are you all in?"
Ouch. The answer was no and no.
Total transparency, I was not 100% certain I could pull off what I was working towards at the time, AND I was not 100% committed to it either.
No brain injury or cognitive disability (that I know of:). Just lack of belief and commitment. So, after some soul searching, I re-evaluated and recommitted.
That’s when everything changed (... for the much better)....

The mere thought of disruption can be paralyzing or it can be a secret weapon. It’s all in your mindset and what you choose to do with it.
Here’s one tip to leverage Mental Toughness to rock disruption so you can get aggressive today about planning how to rise above the rest tomorrow: Keep this in mind, and you’ll be on your way to using a tool you already have in a way that most people don’t know about.
Here’s how: Use fear to drive progress.
In order to foster creativity, productivity and courage it’s important to use this emotion to your benefit rather than to your detriment. Fear can be paralyzing or it can be a super power. It depends on your mindset, how you perceive it.
Here’s a great sequence for transitioning fear into a super power for you:
1.) Recognize a potential threat and its...

I’ve seen it personally (... yes, I admit it!), and I’ve seen it in countless individuals and organizations. Whether it’s clarity on any given day, for a project or for a long-term mission, clarity is more important than you may even realize.
See, what we think and what we say to ourselves over and over again... we tend to believe. Take it even a step further. These thoughts and comments we make to ourselves (our internal dialogue) can manifest in our actions and eventually in the life we create for ourselves.
Clarity is the starting line for our best and most joyous selves.
Our ship needs to know where to sail, and we must believe the destination is not too remote. We must also know WHY we care so deeply... really why.
