  • A part of the growth mindset is positioning yourself correctly before you are about to take on something challenging.
  • People don't want to stay in companies that tolerate high performing bad actors. It's a tremendous business risk.
  • We need to evaluate if the person is coachable. If they're coachable, then it's probably worth the investment. If they are not coachable, then you have to have an exit conversation.
  • If leaders don't have faith in their team, then team members will find it hard to believe. So it’s critical, that you are aware of how your leaders position things to their teams, and how people are feeling because it's a business risk, you will lose revenue
  • The concept of balance is really important, but also diversity of how you're spending your time. stop being glued to your computer from nine to five, take breaks, go for a walk, do something else.
  • You have to take control of avoiding your own burnout.
