(Note: Scroll below to take the IQ² — The Irreplaceable Quotient Diagnostic. In just 5 minutes, it helps identify where disruption may be affecting your confidence, influence, and organizational impact... and where strengthening trust and resilience can make you indispensable.)
There's a question I hear more than any other from the women executives and high-potential female leaders I have the honor of working with right now: "Am I still going to matter?"
Not out loud, usually. It shows up as something quieter... a hesitation before a meeting, a new habit of over-preparing, a low hum of anxiety about a technology that seems to be reshaping every job description in real time. And it's landing hardest on women who have already spent years proving they belong in the room.
Here's what I want every woman leader reading this to know: AI is not the thing that makes you replaceable. The absence of trust and influence is.
I've spent 25+ years training Olympians and world-class athletes on performance under pressure, and I'm also trained in FBI hostage negotiation... a discipline centered entirely around one skill: earning trust. Helping clients to have the greatest impact while becoming irreplaceable when everything is uncertain and the stakes are high. Based on my experience over the last 20 years, executives and rising executives who thrive through disruption aren't the ones with the most technical answers. They're the ones people trust to be steady, honest, and clear when nobody else is.
That skill has never been more valuable than it is right now.
AI can generate a report. It can't sit across from a nervous direct report and make them feel safe enough to tell you the truth. It can't read the unspoken tension in a leadership meeting and know exactly which question will unlock it. It can't build the kind of trust that makes a CEO turn to you first when a real crisis hits. That is deeply, distinctly human work... and it's trainable, the same way an athlete trains most of her life for the Olympics.
This is exactly why I built the IQ² — The Irreplaceable Quotient Diagnostic: a tool for women executives and high-potential leaders to see, with real clarity, where their trust and influence already run deep, and where a little intentional work could open doors that have felt closed.

This isn't only about protecting your own seat at the table. Every woman who learns to lead with this kind of steady, trusted influence becomes proof (to the women watching her) that it's possible. That the table can hold more of them and listen to them as indispensable trusted advisors.
If you're a woman executive feeling the weight of leading through this moment, I want you to hear this clearly: You are being asked to develop a skill set that has always mattered, at a moment when it suddenly matters more visibly than ever. This is a time of opportunity many leaders in your position haven't recognized yet.
